HELLO...
Since we are kid, we were sent to school to learn about basic knowledge, advance, hard skill, soft skill, anything! So, i'm not going to discuss about our education system, i only want to share about why are we learning.
I remembered one of our mentor said:" if someone do a communication, there is must be a reason behind". I think that is true! if someone open a chat with you maybe he/ she only want to break silence, or maybe attracted to you (hehehehe) and so many reason behind communication (just aware and you'll realize it).
If we analog those statement with why we are learning, there must be some reason, to graduation (to get the title), to adapt in the new office, new job, etc.
Okay, let us say that we are learning to be the best or personal interest.
You know and i know that we can learn from anything: books, stories, news, our experiences and others experiences; learning from books, stories, etc made us know about something new and i believe that our brain could keep all of the knowledge inside but in my theory (i hope this theory is right hehehe) our AHA! or WOW! experience were getting by our personal contemplation.
I believe that automatically we want to learn from the best. Usually, people with higher knowledge and lots of experience are wiser than others, these people also usually saying or tell their story of life so the audience could learn something from them. Like me, i learn something from my bosses (more than 1 boss hahaha).
Like i said before, my boss (beside his negative of course) tell us about experiences in life or in his job and if we digest his words and if it fits about something in mind the AHA! thing will come very fast!
like example, i was thinking about how to build better system in my office for my staff, i was looking for a way to build better communication for my new marketing, etc, my brain keep that in his 'safe deposit' and will retrieve them anytime i called. In one day, i was given some communication theory from mas errol, my brain digest this theory and connected to my problems in just a 'click' suddenly AHA! i know what's the problem! i was bla blah and bla bla bla...so i couldn't transfer my message to my new staff, i'm in a wrong way!!! i supposed to be gentle, friendly, etc so my message will be easier to get by....; in a meeting, my boss told us about our company, our business, our goals, our achievement, etc...from our sharing we could learn something, we could observed others characters, from them now i know how to build some system to make our job run more efficient and effective.
The final point is: we could learn from the best even from an awful person (he/she is best of being awful hahaha) learn,learn and learn! don't worry about our brain capacity, still lots of them are not used yet. What we learned will be our weapon to face problems and this knowledge will help us, anytime, to solve the problem and make AHA! in mind also don't forget to connect what we learned in a contemplation.
